The most simple & fresh appetizer you will ever make. Plus its SO good. The balsamic drizzle on top just makes it.

You can whip this up in under 30 minutes. I love how this flatbread uses fresh tomatoes. I found all these beautiful heirloom tomatoes at the store and had to do something with them to really make them shine like the stars they are. This is the perfect time of year to make this with all the fresh, yummy tomatoes!

This recipe is also super easy because you just use store-bought puff pastry (LOVE!). Of course you could make your own, but speaking from experience, you DON’T want to. It is one of the harder pastries to make, and even then there is no guarantee it’ll turn out. Just trust me on this one, and but the storebought one. Before throwing out the package, make sure you take a peek at the baking temperature and times as we will be using it for the recipe.


I love this twist on the plain old Caprese salad with mozzarella and basil, although if you donut typically like Caprese, you can always just use tomatoes. Although I highly recommend grabbing some balsamic drizzle at the store - it’ll change your life!
