Peach season is HEREEE! And in full swing!
I have not been able to get enough of peaches lately. And I hadn’t recalled ever seeing peaches in scones before so I thought, well that NEEDS to exist….
Scones are simply the best! They are SO easy, and SO yummy for a quick breakfast. (or dinner i suppose).
You can really utilize whatever fruit is in season with his recipe. I do blueberries, blackberries or even plain.
The most important part of this recipe is not over mixing it. Whenever I get a scone at a bakery it is always overmixed. Overmixing makes the scone almost tough and not flakey which is a crucial part of every scone!
I used Bob’s Red Mill AP Organic Flour in this recipe, as usual! Clean ingredients = good ingredients!
